Categories displayed on the MPOS are currently displayed in a specific order without any way to influence the sorting. Please allow for category sorting using specific settings such as: Alphabetical (A-Z), Alphabetical (Z-A) and a specified exact sorting. This should be a central setting to allow for a uniform display - allowing the store clerk/user to influence the sorting could be nice in some cases, but not a must.

I guess this has been in the backlog for 8 months now.
What is the current status?

Hi Victor, the idea is indeed to manage the sorting from the MPOS. You want to ensure there is a common catalog experience across the multiple devices and be able to give frequently used categories a top position and less used categories a lower position.
Thanks Abhi, looking forward to seeing the idea realized.

Will be great if the sorting of the categories could be setup in HQ as well. This will be useful for MPOS but specially on web shops.
