Users are attaching emails (from Outlook) that contain image links from a website on their intranet. The intranet uses HTTP, not HTTPS. The CRM uses HTTPS.
Whenever one of these emails is attached to a contact, the Activities list stops showing anything and the IE Developer Tools console list shows a ton of HTTPS security is compromised by XXX.jpg messages.
