Hi Our company chose to go with CIJ because it was integrated with CE and CS.
Unfortunately our business and marketing team is based in Australia +10 h from UTC and NZ +12h from UTC.
Our problem is that CE's data is showing information as per our time zone in the UI but the data is stored in UTC in the backend (not visible to user) and when we surface that data eg. quote start date it leads to a lot of issues.
For example
- segment that needs to pick up a quote start date - mapping field is ok but the segment picks up the contacts a day before our wished date. That's not even considering the nightmare of AEST v. AEDT
- emails that map the field quote start date are picking up the UTC quote start date. So if we want the copy to say quote start date =01/04 it actually says 31/03. Which is a very wrong piece of information that would be communicated to our customers and could have legal repercussions for our business.
This issue is not just at CIJ level. It impacts our whole system including our product creation tool where discounts are not applied on the right day and messes up with all our financial reconciliation.
This is a real deal breaker and I hope this issue will be prioritised in your backlog ASAP.
It's a very poor customer experience.
