Our company recently switched from another CRM system to Dynamics 365 Sales and we have been surprised about the limitations in email tracking in Dynamics.

Automatic mail tracking for all contacts (To, CC, BCC, From) is not useful for our kind of work (culture/heritage sector). We were used to having a chocie from our old CRM, where the sender could select which contacts would be mail tracked during tracking.


Further more does the current system not work for us for cases where several contacs have the same mail address (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/outlook-app/user/faq-email-tracking).

We work as a team and several people talk to several person at the same time. Tracking based on ownership makes no sense in our work of business. Thats why we like to suggest an adjustment to email tracking.

We would be as happy as a kid on christmas day if we had a possibility to adjust the automatical tracking while activating tracking. This way we would have the possibility to manually direct the tracking according to the content.
