  • Duration field should have configurable format

    Currently a Duration field (Whole number, Format: Duration) saves the value in minutes and shows it in minutes, hours or days (depending on the value). It would be good to have the option to change the way how the field shows a value to a fixed format ("Always show value in hours", "Always show value in minutes", "Always show value in days"). In a lot of businesses the primary value for measuring time is hours, so a value of 30 minutes should show as 0,5 hours in the UI and a value of 2 days should show as 48 hours. This idea is only about the UI, saving it in the DB as minutes is fine.

  • More options when creating a resource's calendar

    Currently the possibilities to create a resource's calendar are very limited and the calendar can only cope with very straight forward working hour models.


    It would be good to have an option to enter a custom series, such as "Work hours 8 AM - 2 PM on Friday, every other week" or "Workfree time every first Friday of the month".


    It should also be possible to enter overlapping series. Currently a new series will always erase the future instances of an existing series and it is not possible to have to one active series for "Monday through Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM" and another active series for "Friday 8 AM - 2 PM, every other week" and one more for "Friday off, every other week".

  • More recurrence options in work hour calendar

    There should be more felxibility when creating a a recurring series in a work hour calendar, there should be options similar to Outlook:

    • "Every X weeks"
    • "Monthly - First x-day of the month"
    • "Monthly - xth day of the month"

  • Delete a single entry from a recurring series

    It should be possible to delete a single entry from a recurring series in the work hour calendar.
