  • Payroll Direct Deposit Reference Code field ability to save as blank

    Under Transactions | Payroll | Generate ACH file we added a new field a few years back that defaults in as 00000001 called Reference Code. We allowed this field to be editable, flexible, so you can change it to all zeroes too and create the file or 00000002 and create the file, but we have a bank that wants it to be blank so when the ACH file is created this header field in the ACH is blank, not zero fill at all. The way the field is designed, we cannot enter it to be blank to meet this requirement by this specific bank. Would like to see the ability to enter blanks in this field to be able to create the file as such. Thanks

  • Ability to track non-binary gender in Microsoft Dynamics GP

    Would like the ability to track non-binary gender in the product. Non-binary individuals become more visible, more and more states are beginning to recognize a third gender on identification documents, right not 12 do allow this. The states issuing IDs with a third gender option are leading the way toward a national, federally recognized third gender option.

  • Add a warning message on Sales Cash Receipt that you are posting to an inactive account in General Ledger

    RM Cash Receipts can be posted in RM using inactive accounts. Would like to see the system prompt you that it is an inactive account when you post the RM document. Today it will post on the RM side and will create a GL batch transaction indicating that inactive accounts are present.

  • Ability to use the Advanced Distributions Navigation under the Sales and then Sales Order Transactions area without defualt bins setup

    We heavily use the Advanced Distributions Navigation list by clicking Sales in the bottom left – then expanding the Sales Order Transactions folder. When using the Sales Nav Lists for multiple SOP Order Fulfilments, we have noticed that line items can move orders if there is no Default Bin setup, or if it has zero quantity. the user is warned on the exception reports, but it makes it difficult for the user when items move orders. The workaround for this is to make sure there is a default Bin setup on each item or site for Sales Order Fulfilment and that this site has Quantity. Otherwise you would need to use the Sales Order Fulfillment window or Sales Transaction Entry window to Allocate/Fulfill prior to Confirming the pick through the Navigation Lists.

  • Ability to create the Safepay file in web client

    There was some changes made to this with GP 2018 R2, but based on how the environment is setup, customers still cannot create the Safepay file in web client, would like this functionality. This does work if you are logged into web client from the remote desktop, but it does not seem to generate the file with web client on a local machine. You can set the safepay path in the rich / desktop client. Then when you go to generate the file in web client, you get a message the file can be found at (this location) but when you go to that path there is no safepay file exists in that location.

  • Deferral Inquiry window pulls up Customers and Prospects when trying to pull up Vendors for Purchase Order Processing module

    This happens when we are using RED, Revenue Expense Deferral. When you go to look up Vendors in the Deferral Inquiry window (Inquiry | Financial | Deferral) with the Purchase Order Processing Module selected, the window pulls up the Customers and Prospects window instead of the list of available Vendors in the company. To workaround this, Select the Payables Management Module from the dropdown first, then the Vendor option for the filter and then select the Vendors desired in the From and To fields. Then change the Module dropdown back to Purchase Order Processing and click Redisplay.

  • Ability to choose which Deductions, Benefits and Pay codes print on the check and reprint check

    Today all the pay codes , benefits and deductions print on the check. There may be times where you do not want a specific benefit for deduction to print on the check for the employee. Would like to be able to turn OFF the printing on the check by employee and not show but still be included in the payroll. We do this similar for HR Employee Attendance, you have the ability to show what timecodes you want, add this same functionality to benefits , deductions and pay codes. By default they should all be marked and let a customer choose to 'unmark' them from printing on checks and totals. Thanks

  • Ability for Canadian Payroll employee direct deposit account longer than 12 digits

    On more than one occasion we have encountered issues where employees have bank account numbers which exceed the 12-character limit in the bank account field on the Direct Deposit record on the employee card in Canadian Payroll. We are therefore unable to enter the full bank account details on the employee card. This is typically not for the larger financial institutions, but more credit unions or trust companies. The Payables Vendor records work fine, just not employee Workaround is to edit the file prior to sending.

  • Would like the New EEO Component 2 Report ability to have Division, department and location

    It would be great if the report enabled users to enter specific divisions, department or locations. I was speaking to a multi-division client who was really hoping to be able to select a specific division. It is hard to modify this report to add that in RW, other EEO reports in the system have it, this new one should too. Thanks

  • Payment Method defaults to EFT in Payables Batch Entry for Computer Checks

    The Payment Method defaults to EFT in Payables Batch Entry for Computer Checks when the option of Enable DDR and European Electronic Funds Transfer is marked in Company Setup Options. I would like the system to default the Payment Method should default to Check and the File Format field should not display based on company setup.
