  • Ability to have a POP Shipment/Invoice update the Payables 1099 Utility

    I had a vendor with two transactions: 1-was entered in the Enter/Match Invoices window and 2-was entered in Receiving's as a Shipment/Invoice. They were both posted and paid in 2019. I then decided that this vendor is a 1099 vendor, so I ran the Utility to update all transactions to box 7 MISC. Only the Invoice updated the 1099 amounts, the Shipment/Invoice transaction was not updated with the Update 1099 Information Both the PO Receipt and the Payables document should be updated with 1099 amounts. NOTE – if you process a separate shipment then a separate invoice in POP, this is what happens Thanks

  • Ability to see Analytical Accounting distributions from the detail entry inquiry window for BBF items

    Selecting the Analytical Accounting Distribution lookup Icon in the Analytical Accounting Detail Entry Inquiry window for an Analytical Accounting BBF entry will give a user an error message "A pathname error is preventing access to data in company" to workaround this you need to use the bottom VCR arrow icons to page through AA BBF Dimensions instead of the lookup. This only happens on any BBF lines.

  • All in One Document Viewer - Saving settings

    By default the all in one viewers do not show the historical documents, and if the user goes in and changes it, then it only sticks until they exit GP. Once the user logs back in, then they have to go back and set the preferences again. It would be nice to two one of the two options: 1st choice would be to have it save whatever they selected and have it stick the next time they go into the window. 2nd choice would be to make the default be all boxes selected and then if they don’t want the historical they can uncheck it.   • Would like to see Electronic invoicing requirements required by Germany

    As of November 2020 public sector customers will only accept invoices in an electronic format, such as XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X. Some public sector customers are already asking for electronic invoices now. Electronic invoice means that the invoice data is sent in an XML format (XRechnung) or XML together with PDF (ZUGFeRD). This feature was already released for Dynamics 365 country specific update to support this type of customer invoices: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4490705/a-country-specific-update-for-germany-to-support-export-of-customers-e Would like to see this in Microsoft Dynamics GP as well.   • Drilling back from SmartList to Detail Inquiry window takes wrong date range.

    When drilling back from SmartList the Detail Inquiry window takes the date range based on the GP user date instead of the year the transaction was posted to. To work around this; you have to either change date range in the Detail Inquiry window and refresh, or bring the entry up directly from the Detail Inquiry window outside of Smart List.

  • Ability to print SmartList from Web Client

    You can print a SmartList from rich client, but when you try this in web client you get an error message unable to get property 'style' of undefined or null reference. Would like to be able to print in web client. The workaround would be to export your list and then print from Excel instead. Thanks

  • Add fields for Step 4a and 4b to Dynamics GP on the 2020 W4 form

    The 2020 W4 form was implemented this year and not all the fields on the W4 form are in GP. There are workarounds noted on this blog of what to do for these fields. https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/dynamicsgp/posts/new-2020-payroll-w-4-how-does-it-work-in-microsoft-dynamics-gp Customers would like to see fields 4a and 4b added to GP, this will change our calculate engine dramatically and slow down payroll processing, but if the fields stick around into the 2021/2022 year it should be reviewed.

  • NACHA Data Security Requirements June 2020 Changes for GP?

    There are some NACHA Security Requirements for June 2020 Effective Dates: Phase 1 – June 30, 2020 for Originators and Third-Parties with ACH volume greater than 6 million in 2019 Phase 2 – June 30, 2021 for Originators and Third-Parties with ACH volume greater than 2 million in 2020 Will there be changes for GP to handle this? https://www.nacha.org/rules/supplementing-data-security-requirements

  • For users that use Project Accounting would like the ability to change a PO when originating from a Requisition

    For users that use Project Accounting would like the ability to change a PO when originating from a Requisition If a Req is entered with Project Accounting information, then transferred to Purchase Order Processing, the system will lock down the Purchase Order stating the quantity can't be changed. Would like to see the system allow this to be edited. This will allow Project Accounting users to make changes to POs if needed, that originated from a Requisition, and maintain the link to it, thru the SOP60100. Supporting Project tables look good and this appears to be a straight forward change.
  • Would like the Payables Intercompany Voids to appear on the Payables side of the Reconcile to GL Tool spreadsheet

    When you have Intercompany setup under Tools >> Setup >> System >> Intercompany And you run the reconcile to GL Tools >> Routines >> Financial >> Reconcile to GL, and generate the spreadsheet If you have posted payables and voided it on an account, they do not appear on the spreadsheet The voided intercompany invoice should show in ‘matched’ transactions both on the Payables and the General Ledger sections of the spreadsheet. Today the voided intercompany invoice does not show on the payables side at all (but it should). The GL side shows in ‘Unmatched Transactions’ because the payables side is missing.
