  • Pay Period Dates on Payroll Transaction Entry window

When manually entering or editing Payroll Transaction batches, a very common thing to miss is entering the Pay Period date defaults at the top. It would be cool to have a way to enter these dates and then have a option to "apply to all transactions in this batch". Also when re-opening the window/batch, if all transactions in the batch already have consistent pay period dates, display those dates as the default at the top so the user doesn't have to enter them every time.
  • Payroll Code Modifier window - get stuck in this window!

If I open the Payroll Code Modifier window and enter an Old Code and then blank it out and decide I don't want to work in this window or update anything, I get stuck and cannot close the window. The Clear button does not help.
  • Inactive button on Department and Position Setup windows

Many times we have obsolete codes, and the Payroll Code Modifier is great to now be able to rename the Department Codes. It would be really cool to have an Inactive button on the Department Setup and Position Setup windows. There would likely need to be some functionality to not allow the Inactive status if there are active employees who have the value selected. And also allow the Lookup to Exclude Inactive codes. Thank you for considering!
  • HR Attendance Accrual - Ability to choose group of employee to accrue

Some customers would like the ability to run a quick HR accrual for just one employee or a group of employees (Employee Class) or specific Time Code. This could be important for terminations or testing a change.

  • Allow ability to void previously posted Project Accounting Timesheets, individually or as a batch

Occasionally clients need to void and re-process PA timesheets that have already been posted, and sent to payroll. Would like the ability to void individual PA Timesheets, or as a batch of PA Timesheets. Or provide a way to create a reversing timesheet or batch of timesheets. Need to also create the reverse post to payroll. Thank you!
  • Tracking Payroll items posted to Suspense Account

It would be super helpful if the Payroll GL Distribution entry was not summarized by the employee check, so it would be easier to track back to which payroll code caused an entry to hit a Suspense Account. Right now we have to compare the Employee Check Header information, the Check Transaction details to the Payroll Distribution and piece it together. If it wasn't summarized, would it be possible to list the Payroll Code, and potentially the Department and Position combination that caused the item to hit the Suspense account (or any GL account)?
