• Feature to set tabs on custom entities that can display SharePoint documents

With the release of the new feature, the Contact, Opportunity, Lead, and Account entities can now be referenced on the "File" tab in addition to the "Related" tab when viewing documents on the subgrid.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2019wave2/dynamics365-sales/improve--simplify-most-common-sales-workflows#feature-details

     - Make the Documents tab visible in the main form for Contact, Opportunity, Lead, and Account entities.

However, for other entities (including custom entities) ,we still have to open the "Documents" tab from the "Related" tab before we can view them.

The customer would like to be able to see the documents in any entity in the "File" tab as well.

We believe this will increase the variation in the operation of Dynamics 365 Online and streamline the cutomer's business.

  • Feature to download SharePoint document files in Dynamics 365 Online

If we want to download a SharePoint document file that is currently displayed in the Dynamics 365 Online sub-grid, we will need to open the file or go to the linked SharePoint site once.

[Export Document], which is displayed in the Dynamics 365 Online subgrid, just a feature to download the displayed list.

It would be very convenient to be able to download the SharePoint files of the linked sites on Dynamics 365 Online.

Because we do not need to open the files or go to the SharePoint site every time.

  • Feature to assign Dynamics 365 Online security roles to security groups in Microsoft 365 Management Center

Currently, the default behavior in Dynamics 365 Online is to assign security roles on a per-user basis.

While it is possible to assign the same security role to multiple users at once, customers prefer to assign it per security group in the Microsoft 365 Management Center.

This feature will make the management of users in Dynamics 365 Online more efficient, as it will be possible to manage what security roles are assigned to which security groups and who the target users are at one time.

  • Feature to display records in same window when Sales Pro App activity view is “Read-Only”

Currently, in the activity entity of the Sales Professional application, the way to display records differs depending on the view display format.

    - Calendar control: Records are displayed in the same window.

    - Read-only: Records are displayed in a pop-up window.

On the other hand, other sales apps display records in the same window in read-only mode.

Customers who use the Sales Professional app want to improve the function or add a function to display records in the same window even in read-only status as other sales apps.

  • Feature to change the Organization Units of a project or task once created in Project Operations

Currently, it is not possible to change Organization Units on the project or task once they are created in Project Operations.

Therefore, Organization Units records associated with projects and tasks cannot be deleted.

If we delete a project or task record, we can delete the Organization Units record as well, since it is no longer associated with the project or task.

However, we do not think this method is useful because there are cases where we want to keep the project or task and delete only the Organization Units.

Records that are unnecessary but cannot be deleted can put pressure on the tenant's capacity.

If this feature is fixed, we will make our business more efficient and allow us to use Project Operations more effectively.

  • Feature to edit and sort records displyaed in Lookup Field in view that has view filter

When a Lookup field is placed in the View column and a view filter is applied, all record names for the target entity are displayed in ascending order.

The current default behavior is that it cannot be changed because it is tied to the information in the primary field.

However, we think the view filter would be more useful if it could be improved to change the records to be displayed, like when the Lookup field is placed on a form.

We also believe that the view filter would be even more useful if there is a function that allows sorting of the displayed records.

  • Feature to make primary fields subject to field security

Currently, field security cannot be enabled for the primary fields of an entity.

we can set primary fields read-only or not display them by default.

However, these settings apply to all users.

It is inconvenient to have an exception only for the primary field when we want to control the behavior of the field for each user.

The implementation of the ability to enable field security even for primary fields would allow for more granular per-user control.

When this feature is implemented ,Dynamics 365 Online will more useful.

  • Feature to change records created from custom Activity Entitiey to record types eligible for App for Outlook integration

Currently, records of custom Activity entity are registered on the Default Activity entity as "Custom Activity" of type.

Therefore, these records cannot link to App for Outlook.

If the  to change records created from custom Activity entity to record types eligible for App for Outlook integration (ex: Appointment) is fixed, we think the use of Activity entity will more convenient.

  • Feature to specify Custom Activity entity as destinations for Activity entity conversions

Currently, Activity entity is only converted to specific entities such as Case and Opportunitiy.

In addition, Custom Activity entity is not eligible for conversion.

If the feature to allow Custom Activity entity to be specified as conversion targets for Activity entity is fixed, we think the use of Activity entity will more convenient.

  • Feature to select the target field for the record name to be displayed on the Lookup field

Currently, when we select and determine a record on the Lookup field, the record name of that entity's primary field is displayed.

However, we do not always want to display the record name of the primary field in our operation.

Sometimes we want the Lookup field to display the record names of other fields that are not the primary field.

We think that if we can select the target field that will be the record name to be displayed on the Lookup field,Dynamics 365 will be more convenient.
