  • Financial tags: add an optional validation for tags of Custom list and List type

    Currently even if a financial tag of the List or Custom list value type is defined, the tag values aren't validated to ensure that they exist in the list. In our scenario we have 65'000+ properties that we want to be able to report on. We want to create a financial tag for Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN). In most cases transactions and tags will come via integrations, but some will be entered manually. We want to ensure that the manually entered UPRN values are correctly entered and validated against the UPRN list (custom list).


    Would be great to be able to configure financial tag to validate values against the list or custom list.

  • Financial dimension service to be extended to Derived Dimension Values import

    We have around 100K derived dimension values that need to be imported into our Gold environment. There are several iterations when we need to do it. We also would like to manage our derived dimension values via an integration.

    Current issues:

    • it takes a few days to load 100K records via the Derived dimensions values data entity because it calls the standard dimension framework.
    • it takes a few days to delete a section in the Derived dimensions when there are many values. The application becomes irresponsive. MS ticket 2310310050001102.
    • updating derived dimension values via an integration is slow.

    Business impact: it delays the project timeline because the team need to wait until the dimensions are loaded.

    Proposal: expand the scope of the Financial dimension service to these scenarios.
