There are other log tables that capture data unnecessary for long term retention, some of which are utilized extensively by ISV products (example: Sales Tax calculation/capture ISVs). It would be helpful if there were other tools (or better yet, a scalable framework for selecting some of these other tables for periodic purge, along with the obligatory capability for selecting the amount of history to retain by table.

Example: sysencryptionlog - this table is used extensively by common ISV sales tax solution providers, and has raised alerts as a key "offending" table during assessment of high transaction tables for purge consideration to reduce Azure license cost impact. Regrettably, there is no way out-of-the-box to cleanup this table.

This request is to extend the information presented in the "The operation is taking a long time to process, click Wait to keep waiting for it to complete" dialog, often appearing when long-running processes are executing in interactive mode. The context that this specific request is being issued is when large volume shipments (>3K containers or more) are confirmed, often executing for several minutes.

Typically, when the functional users click the presented "Wait" option, there is often no response on the All Shipments form (whsshipmenttable form) unless the user attempts to close or refresh the form, at which point the message will reappear.

Our user community has requested more feedback to be presented on the form, such as a progress dialog - anything that can provide at least some cosmetic visibility that the triggered process is doing something.
