  • Enabling the ability to copy projects that are created in a different legal entity to the one your resource resides in

At the moment, you are able to copy projects that are created in the legal entity which matches with the legal entity against your own resource record. However, you are not able to copy projects which have been created in a different legal entity to the legal entity against your resource record. In a previous case opened with Microsoft, you have explained 'the prevalent thought of why this error was implement is to protect the ‘Intellectual Property’ of different Legal entities as some business process would consider such as a security breach to their property.'. However, we have project controllers who work across legal entities who would like the ability to copy projects from all legal entities, no matter what legal entity their bookable resource resides in. Therefore, enabling this ability, with certain security developed behind it, would help people like project controllers with their day to day jobs.
  • Have a 'Terminated in period' report

There used to be a report in AX4 called 'Terminated in period' which would be great if we can bring back.

Although there is a 'Past worker' form, it has not got the capabilities the Terminated in period report had, for example you can't limit/filter on Termination date. When the company needs to deliver the report to the IT auditor it might need to be delivered per legal entity and only for a certain period like 01.01.22 to 30.06.22, therefore currently we have to extract the data to excel and manipulate it. Auditors like to see that you inside the system ask for all terminated employees for a certain period and then see what the system finds and therefore if extracting and removing subcons and certain legal entities and limit the data on Termination date in excel - then data is out of the system where you can delete or add in the excel.

  • Increase maximum total duration for a project

Currently, there is a 10 year limit on the total duration of a project. We have customers who run projects for 10+ years.

Please can this duration limit be extended (and therefore extending the maximum duration of a summary task limit too).
