Currently, Dynamics solution allows to define attribute values at a product master level & these attribute values are inherited by the variants, by default. And there's no provisioning/mechanism for a Merchandising manager to override the attributes values for an individual variant that were by default inherited from the product master.

This appears to be a common requirement for E-commerce. As the solution becomes more omnichannel I imagine this capability will be needed more and more.

This is a much needed feature as there are demands from most of the customers to define attributes at Variant Level

I've needed this capability in multiple ecommerce projects. We've had to use crazy work-arounds.
