Automatic (monthly) update of purchased packages in electronic invoicing
Suggested by Charissa Stevens – New – 0 Comments
Hi,
When using the electronic invoicing feature on RCS (Regulatory Configuration Services) only a certain amount of transactions are included. To extend this amount of transactions, a subscription needs to be purchased.
Despite the fact Microsoft delivers this subscription to the customer, the counters are not automatically updated.
The subscription has to be entered manually in a separate form on the usage management form.
Since this is a continuing monthly subscription, it is needed to make an entry for every month separately in this form to have it reflect well in the counters on the usage management form.
This idea consists of 2 parts
- Microsoft updates the counters automatically when subscription is purchased
- If 1 is not an option --> Only 1 entry is necessary in the purchased subscriptions/packages form to have the counters updated on the usage management form (and not an entry for every month)
Many thanks!

Proactive Quality Updates - improvements
Suggested by Jannie Krushave – New – 1 Comments
Hi Microsoft,
We have some suggestions for improvements for the proactive quality updates:
- Include track in the KB articles in LCS
- Create better documentation of the KB articles in LCS to include more documentation on the actual issue to be able to a targeted regression test
- Ensure we can have a sandbox environment on some level as PROD to be used for support (one sandbox should be able to opt. out of the proactive quality updates for tst environemnts)
- Same dates for the proactive quality update montly so it will be easier to plan testing of it

Foreign currency revaluation cash and bank management module (Poland)
Suggested by Klaudia Stokfisz-Kiełek – New – 2 Comments
An Idea very similar to
https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=009a96a2-581b-e711-80c0-00155d460d59
Please make a 'Foreign currency revaluation' available in the bank module for all countries/regions - also for Poland.
In the article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/cash-bank-management/bank-revaluation
it is written that it is impossible for the company with Polish localization to use ‘Bank foreign currency revaluation’ instead of there is 'Foreign currency revaluation' in the General ledger module (General ledger > Periodic tasks > Foreign currency revaluation). Both functionalities work similar but the effect is a bit different at the end.

Ability to mask Confidential data and Fields
Suggested by Hiten Parekh – New – 0 Comments
Team: Thanks for taking all the ideas.
Under the Compliance and CDP (Data Protection Act), many D365FO clients ask for Key Data Masking Features around Customers, Vendors, Main Account masters, etc. I would request the product management team to consider the Data Masking capability for D365 Finance and SCM. This requirement looks simple by reading, but satisfying it by applying customization or, in some cases, using XDS is very expensive, time-consuming and breaks the system a lot.

Asset Leasing - Add and Edit lines in asset leasing journal
Suggested by Stefano Medici – New – 0 Comments
For fiscal requirements (Italy: Art. 21, c. 2, D.P.R. 633 del 1972) we need to add new lines in asset leasing journal but there’s not the possibility to create manually new journal lines. We have to add the lines because for italian fiscal requirements the invoice must include other expenses. e.g. Expenses Cost, Bank Fee, Stamp Duty expense, Initial recognition expenses and others. These expenses are not related directly to Leasing contract but are referred to the single invoice document. In Italy, the invoice must be equal to the one received from the vendor.
The request is related to Vendor invoice asset leasing journal, so it's related to Asset Leasing type: Cash Basis. The new button is greyed out and it's not possible to add new lines.
Since that we need to add new lines, we should be able to amend all the fields of all vendor invoice journal lines. We request to edit the vendor invoice journal lines created by the system and the one created manually.
Toady we are able to amend only some of the fields and not all the fields. e.g Today we are not able to amend the Debit/Credit amount, the ledger account and the ledger account type.

Request of modification of actual intent letter management
Suggested by Valentina Greco – New – 0 Comments
The actual management of intent letter in D365 didn't fit the Italian legislation.
The requirement is to:
- Assignment of the letter of intent: assign the intent letter during shipment of goods with automatic or manual assignment, based on the shipment date, if it falls within the validity period of the letter of intent, the intent letter must be assigned.
- Plafon erosion: the plafond eriosion must take place when the invoice is registered, checking the date of shipment of the goods.
- Update of sales order : propose for delivered or partially delivered sales orders only those with a shipment date that falls within the validity period of the letter of intent
Italian legilastion normative reference:
For the sale of goods, the moment of carrying out the transaction for VAT purposes, takes place on the date of delivery or shipment. It is therefore the date of delivery of the goods to the recipient that identifies the moment of taxation of the operation and of tax collectability, even if the invoice can be "deferred" to the 15th of the month following the one in which the sales are made (Article 21 co. 4 DPR 633/1972)

Multiple bill-to address selection from Sales Order header
Suggested by Lifia Tamara – New – 1 Comments
Currently if a customer has multiple bill to addresses (purpose = Invoice), user can select the secondary invoice address on Free text invoice header. However, this capability is not available on the Sales order header. The work around is to update the default invoice address on the customer record temporarily, generate the sales order invoice that needs to be billed to the secondary invoice address, and return to the customer record to update the default invoice address back to the primary one. This work around will not be feasible if there's high volume of invoice that needs secondary bill to address.

Multiple VAT registration : declare transactions in 2 countries simultaneously
Suggested by Marie Warnier – New – 1 Comments
In the context of multiple VAT registrations, a lot of our customers which have several VAT numbers in different countries must declare single transactions in 2 countries simultaneously.
However, it’s not currently possible.
Example: a Belgian company has 2 VAT numbers : a Belgian VAT number and a Netherlands VAT number. The company makes a sale with its NL VAT number.
The base and VAT must go on the NL VAT declaration > OK, it works fine with the multi VAT registration in D365. But the base must also be declared on the BE VAT declaration (box 47 - exempt sale). > Not possible.
Our request is to be able to declare transactions in 2 countries simultaneously because we are getting more and more requests for this.

Italian Bollo stamp duty setup as auto charges and validation of Item charge group on header level
Suggested by Sanne Christensen – New – 0 Comments
Italian Bollo stamp duty is required on invoices where the subtotal of the lines without VAT exceeds 77,74 EUR.
If the requirement is met, Bollo charge is applied only once per invoice document, the charge is fixed, set to 2 EUR.
Standard solution is to manually validate all Sales orders to verify if the requirement for bollo stamp duty is met and apply the auto charge into the sales order before invoicing.
Ideally there should be a setup for Bollo in auto charges, where the sum of total invoice lines for certain items with VAT exempt were calculated and added automatically when using the “tired charges” in a Sales order, if conditions were met.
Potentially this could be done by adding the Items to a specific Item charge group and enabling the option also from the Auto charge header view, instead of only the line view. Additionally, there must be a calculation for subtotal of all invoice lines which contains items from this item charge group, so bollo charge is only applied once per invoice. The threshold amount EUR 77.74 must still be validated against the subtotals of invoice lines from the item charge group, to meet the requirements.

Possibility to select posting layer when creating journal type Allocation
Suggested by Nicolas Boix – New – 2 Comments
It will be great to be able to select a posting layer for journal type Allocation. At the moment, we cannot change default posting layer Current for journal type allocation.
The idea would be to have a posting layer dedicated to Reallocation, so you don't modify your accounting layer with reallocation journals. Then you can easily create you reports with or without reallocation depending on the layer selected.
