Hi,
Just like D365FO roles, it would have been very convenient to have control of role assignment from the tool itself by an administrator instead of doing from Power platform admin tool which normally maintained by other management team in the organization. It would simplify and speedup the authorization process.
Roles
A role defines what operations a user can perform in the planning app and in the planning visuals in Power BI.
Four out-of-box roles are available for planning:
- Business Performance Planning Administrator
- Business Performance Planning Power User
- Business Performance Planning Contributor
- Business Performance Limited Contributor
- Business Performance Planning Viewer
