Currently, deferral journals generated via Subscription Billing for procurement scenarios do not support Financial tags, limiting traceability and reporting capabilities. We request that Financial tags be supported in these deferral journals, aligning with their availability in other modules like purchase order invoicing.
Fully support adding Financial Tags to Subscription Billing deferral journals. Tags already streamline analytics in PO invoicing (10.0.41) and AP; extending them to deferrals would:
• keep reporting consistent across procurement and revenue schedules
• allow granular slicing of deferred costs by project, campaign, etc., without extra financial dimensions
• simplify month-end close because the tag flows from invoice through every GL recognition entry
The tagging framework is already exposed in the posting tables, so the development effort should be modest and aligns with Microsoft’s wider tagging roadmap.
