In D365 the Sales Tax (VAT) transactions details report profit and loss account are underneath each transactions, which make the analysis of the report in Excel impossible. The profit and loss account should be added as a column as it used to be in AX 2009.

  • I understand the value of the profit and loss information but ideally it would be better if this information was optional when running the report. and if not selected, the report would exclude it and any "empty" row so when transferred to Excel it can be useful
  • Actually, just thought about it and the "profit and loss" information should be renamed to something else such as counterparty posting. Not all transactions (i.e inventory) are profit and loss.
