    Schedule Board - Filter Appointments

    • Cause: Microsoft depricates the syncronisation of bookings with outlook.
    • Workaround: create an appointment automatically after a bookable resource booking is schedule in the schedule board.
    • Issue: duplicate record regarding the same business object (bookable resouce + appointment created by the workaround) are shown in the schedule board -> leading to loss of overview
    • Comment: This feature is especialy needed when tracking outlook appointments (such as internal meetings) to dynamics 365 in order to have a better overview of each use resource.

    Customized UI theme not reflected in Field Service Mobile app

    Customized Theme reflected in Field Service App in Windows version, but this theme not reflected in Android Field service app.


    It seems MS have limitation to display theme in Power Apps Field Service app.


    Hope this will be fixed in upcoming releases.

    Enable Access to Schedule Board Settings from Modern Advanced Find in Dynamics 365

    With the recent shift to Modern Advanced Find in Dynamics 365, we’ve encountered a limitation that is affecting user productivity: users are no longer able to open or access Schedule Board Settings directly from Modern Advanced Find.


    Previously, with Legacy Advanced Find, users could easily locate and open Schedule Board Settings, allowing for quick sharing and configuration of the Schedule Board across users. Now, with the Legacy Advanced Find being deprecated and performance issues when loading it, accessing these settings has become unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.


    Suggested Enhancement:

    Please enable or restore the ability to open Schedule Board Settings from Modern Advanced Find. This improvement would:

    • Align Schedule Board Settings access with modern UI standards.
    • Enhance user experience by reducing clicks and time spent navigating.
    • Support organizations transitioning fully to Modern Advanced Find without feature loss.

    This change will streamline scheduling processes and improve efficiency for dispatchers and administrators using the Schedule Board in Field Service scenarios.


    Benefits:

    • Easier access to key configuration settings.
    • Reduced dependency on deprecated Legacy Advanced Find.
    • Enhanced usability and adoption of Modern Advanced Find.


    Thank you for considering this enhancement to improve functionality and user experience in Dynamics 365.

    Copilot language recognation in email Draft

    We work with 3 languages in our company.


    In the beginning we used Copilot recognizes the language and with the Customize button Copilot adapts the text to the detected language.


    Now when we ask to adjust the text Copilot adjusts the text but translates it to Dynamics' UX language instead of the original text.


    When we open the ticket at Microsoft, the agent communicates at the end of the ticket that this is expected behavior.


    As an agent, I use Dynamics in English, but my customer is French. When I write to a customer in French and ask them to adjust the text in French, Copilot adjusts the text AND translates it into English.


    So why our agents do not use Copilot anymore in Draft.


    PS: I have also seperate Microsoft Copilot on my Teams.

    I don't have this problem in my Teams. My Teams is in Dutch, I write in French or English but Copilot in Teams detects the language and adjusts it in the detected language without translating automatically.


    Hopefully you will modify it on Dyn CE module.

    Schedule Board settings

    When users needs to change schedule board settings, they open settings from schedule board. Parameters window open, when user change a parameter, window is automatically close. That mean user had to reopen parameters for each parameters they need to change.

    Schedule bookings in the past

    Our users have had issues with scheduling bookings in the past on accident. I know that this may be a people issue but wondering if it would be a good idea to have Microsoft give an option to not allow Dispatchers to schedule bookings in the past and only in the future.

    Conditionally hide/display inspection questions based on related work order data

    Currently, an inspection question can be hidden or displayed based on a response of a prior question in that same inspection.


    Would be nice if questions can also be hidden or displayed based on fields of the related work order (or further, such as the service account or customer asset). If the customer asset size = Large machine, additional fields are displayed to be filled in. If customer asset size = Small machine, those fields are not displayed.


    This would eliminate the need to create and manage multiple inspection templates...


    Imagine there is a one to one relationship between customer asset and work order. There are two factors on the customer asset for which you need additional fields displayed on the inspection (whereas the majority of other fields is exactly the same). For example: Customer Asset size has 3 options (large, medium, small) and Customer asset ownership has two options (Lessor, Lessee).


    The amount of inspections templates required is:

    • Inspection template 1: Large Customer Asset, owned by Lessor
    • Inspection template 2: Large Customer Asset, owned by Lessee
    • Inspection template 3: Medium Customer Asset, owned by Lessor
    • Inspection template 4: Medium Customer Asset, owned by Lessee
    • Inspection template 5: Small Customer Asset, owned by Lessor
    • Inspection template 6: Small Customer Asset, owned by Lessee


    Would be great if we can add the logic in the inspection template itself, rather than creating endless inspection templates to be managed separately!

    Show all Resource Preferences in "Preferred Resources" column on Requirement Groups resource requirement grid

    Currently, the requirement group form has a grid that displays most of the key booking requirements for booking that requirement group. One of the columns is called "Preferred Resources", which displays resource preference rows associated with the given resource requirement, but only when the preference type is "Preferred". If you select "Must choose from" or "Restricted" preference type, then the associated resource preference disappears from the preferred resources column of the requirement group grid.


    This is inconsistent with the other columns in the grid, which display all associated records, and don't filter by sub-types (see characteristics or resource categories or organizational unit columns). The associated booking functionality that goes with preference types is invaluable, but the grid display does not seem to make the use of the range of resource preference types available.


    My proposal is to either show all resource preferences in the existing preferred resources column, or else add 2 additional columns that display "must choose from" and "restricted" preference types for associated resource preferences.

    no option to increase the duration of "Toast notification fade interval in seconds"

    by default the "Toast notification fade interval in seconds" is set to 6, and it is difficult for change the interval for individual users.

    From default solution also its not possible to increase the duration of "Toast notification fade interval in seconds" as well.


    Requesting to please add an option which increase this time for all the user at a time.
