Not sure if this is just visual studio function request, but it would also be good to be able search an entire data model, data model mapping, or format and format mapping in the Electronic Reporting module of dynamics.
Do you mean that it should search for data inside the tables ? For Example, if someone search "ABC" and there is customer name "ABC-XYZ" , Vendor name "ABC-Vendor", Sales Order "SO-001ABC" then it should show all three?
