Dispatch scheduling single job does not reschedule hard linked setup with process jobs of same operation together. Dispatch scheduling single job does not reschedule hard linked setup with process jobs of same operation together.
Suggested by Ahmed Abdelaal – New – 0 Comments
User is scheduling setup and process jobs for multiple orders using same resource from dispatch form.
When trying to schedule using re-schedule single jobs, only process jobs are moved and setup job is not rescheduled even while using hard link which breaks the expected sequence.
This was reported through LCS#1050322 and was concluded as feature limitation since 'Reschedule single job' does not consider other hard linked jobs for the same operation.
Hence, this idea is to consider design change request or adding additional functionality in the future.

Supplier Communication Agent - Including PO details as an attachment
Suggested by Vera Temkov – New – 0 Comments
Based on feedback from key users currently adopting the Supplier Communication Agent, there is a need to improve the format in which Purchase Order (PO) details are shared via email.
Users have expressed a preference for receiving PO information as a file attachment rather than embedded in the email body.
To address this, we propose enabling the option to include PO details as an attached document—either in PDF or Excel format—containing selected/preconfigured fields from the purchase orders.

Simplify security managemnt
Suggested by Emir Omeragic – New – 0 Comments
So I have a Security role. I want to give access to that role to open and read BOM's, group PO's and allow Firming.
When I open Planned purchase order section, there is no reference to menus, I cant allow single button that is visible to System admin to specific role. Even when I find the name of the button, I cant add it via Security Configuration.
At least allow us to do incremental security roles by giving us acces to basic and granular security role editing

Add support for OR conditions in Advanced filter/sort
Suggested by Kamil Szmagliński – New – 0 Comments
Currently, the Advanced filter/sort tool in Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management only supports combining different field ranges with AND logic. While
||can be used inside a single field, there is no way to build queries such as:- WorkOrderType = Crossdock AND Status = Open
- OR
- WorkOrderType = Sales order AND Status = In process
This limitation forces users to rely on developer-created queries (with Union joins), exports to Excel, or Power BI reports, just to achieve what should be a basic filtering capability in the UI.
Suggested improvement
- Add an option to group filter criteria with OR in the Advanced filter/sort dialog.
- Allow users to create multiple condition groups and define whether they are combined with AND or OR.
- This would bring the filtering closer to standard query builders and greatly improve usability for business users without technical skills.
Business impact
- Reduces dependency on IT/development resources for simple data queries.
- Improves efficiency for warehouse managers, planners, and other users who frequently need to run complex queries.
- Aligns the filtering experience with common expectations from reporting tools.

Replacement Order
Suggested by Javier Rubio – New – 0 Comments
When going to the replacement order creation if the product has no transactions in the system / legal entity, it does not appear in the "all items" tab, even if the product is released on that legal entity.
This is an issue, for example, for new Go Lives when we need to create a replacement for an order created in a previous system

Master Planning - Preference for confirmed over unconfirmed sales order lines when calculating delivery dates
Suggested by Benjamin Eber – New – 0 Comments
Hi,
Dynamics determines delivery dates for sales order lines based on the requested or confirmed shipping date.
If there is a confirmed date, Dynamics use the confirmed date.
New sales order lines are usually unconfirmed, so does only have a requested date when calculation a delivery date.
With the new planning optimization, all sales order lines are considered, requested and confirmed. All lines with only a requested date get a confirmed date - the earlies possible date. The issue is, that dynamics does not differentiate between requested and confirmed dates. There should be a parameter where you can decide to prefer confirmed dates over requested dates. It would be great if it were possible to define a period in which confirmed lines win over requested lines.
Thanks,
Benjamin

Need to allow items requiring a Quality Control (QC) process to be registered directly on a location—even if that location is not part of a quarantine warehouse to avoid this error message: "If the items are to be registered directly on a location, it must be in a quarantine warehouse"
Suggested by Yasmine Hesham Hassan Zaki (Convergys International Europe B V) – New – 0 Comments
Benefits of Allowing Direct Registration Without Quarantine
1. Streamlined Receiving Process
Allowing direct registration bypasses the need to route items through a quarantine warehouse, which:
- Reduces the number of steps in the receiving workflow.
- Speeds up inventory availability for downstream processes like picking and shipping.
- Minimizes delays caused by misconfigured quarantine zones or missing associations.
2. Improved Warehouse Space Utilization
- Avoid unnecessary use of quarantine space for items that don’t truly require it.
- Consolidate inventory more efficiently by directly placing items in their final storage locations.
3. Enhanced Flexibility for Quality Management
The current setup enforces strict routing through quarantine zones. Relaxing this:
- Allows for more dynamic quality control strategies, such as inline inspections or post-receipt audits.
- Supports hybrid models where QC is performed at the receiving dock or staging area, as described in 2024 Supply Chain- Warehouse and Inventory management.
4. Reduced Configuration Complexity
Avoids the need to:
- Create and maintain separate quarantine warehouses and zones.
- Configure item model groups and quality associations with quarantine flags. This simplifies setup and reduces the risk of errors like the one you're encountering.
5. Cost Efficiency
By eliminating the need for additional warehouse infrastructure and reducing manual handling:
- Labor costs and operational overhead can be lowered.
- Device licensing can be optimized.

Instant search for transaction in header search field
Suggested by John Brian – New – 0 Comments
D365 SCM should have a search field that enables any transaction to be searched for. For example I know a sales order number or a purchase order number. I should be able to enter this into to field that is always open at the top of the screen, to navigate to that order. There could be multiple fields for different purposes at a choice. So we would have one for sales orders, one for purchase orders, once for customers, one for invoices etc.

View EAM Assets directly in PMA
Suggested by Ignacio Lopez Coll – New – 0 Comments
Project teams need a simple way to see related Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) assets directly from a Project Management and Accounting (PMA) project record.
My idea is to add a button in PMA that, when clicked, shows all EAM assets tied to the current project, its master project, and all its subprojects. The best part? Project managers should be able to view these assets without needing full access or specific security roles within the EAM module itself.
This would be a huge win for efficiency! Project managers could quickly see all relevant assets linked to their projects in one place, cutting down on clicks and making sure they have all the info they need without security roadblocks.
