As on date, there is No feature to delete/reset any specific Item in Inventory Visibility.

If anything wrong gest published in Data Verse (for any product Item) the only wat to correct is to delete/ reset all inventory items and republish from D365. This is not only time consuming but also needs production downtime.

I suggest to for an option to reset/ delete Item specific inventory from Inventory Visibility Data Verse.

Currently, the system allows users to create a purchase order and receive the items in transit warehouse. This creates an issue in inventory because you can't create a transfer order from transit warehouse, and therefore all theses transactions have be reversed and received again in correct warehouse.

I'd suggest MS disable the ability to create purchase/sales transactions on warehouses of type transit because it's not a valid scenario, and cause issues in inventory.

After Creating Quality Order, Item can be moved to another location within warehouse.

But, currently system only allows to move item after closing the Quality Order.

I tried to validate Quality Order, then moved Item to other location, but, can not reopen Quality Order when actual result available.

System should have any set up to allow reopen Quality Order when it still available within same warehouse.

It can be very confortable for French company to have the right format of dates, means french format (DD/MM/YY), in the exportation files from the data management workspace of D365 Finance & operation

It would be useful to add the purpose of the steps (where applicable) to online task guide/steps. This would aid someone new to learning D365

we found the discrepancy in the inventory value report. How to find the exact the voucher and period to correct the discrepancy?

Customer scenario:

Customer tries to post picking list for a batch order (the picking list is generated manually or auto created with current posting date when start production order with post picking list unmarked). They will find some semi-finished product in the picking list don’t have on hand, as the office hour will be end, so customer may delay the posting picking list to the next day. On the next day, customer will create a batch order for the semifinished goods to increase the on-hand, and customer always report as finished at current date. Then try to post picking list for yesterday’s order and filled the batch number for newly produced semi-finished product. The backdate posting happened as the picking list is created yesterday with posting date of yesterday. When customer try to trace finished good, the semi-finished product could not be expanded, and it is the end of the node.

As item tracing is very important for customer, and this behavior is as designed in issue: 870521, would like to suggest if feature implementation could be made to popped out a warning when backdate posting is happing for production order picking list? then customer can take action at the very beginning.

We would like to understand what this field Quantity <> 0 functionality does?
