In service update 10.0.17, a feature was added named 'Enable creation of a vendor invoice journal when discarding a freight bill', which is enabled by default.

Previously, discarding a freight estimate did two things. First it would create a vendor invoice journal, which isn't needed. Second it would update the associated PO lines to reflect the discarded estimates by creating negative charges to reverse the estimate, which is needed.

The update changes both of these features though. It prevents the vendor invoice journal creation, which is good, but it also prevented the PO line charge update, which is bad because then inventory value is overstated. When it is sold, COGS is also overstated, reducing profit.

Microsoft has agreed to look at fixing this in a future deliverable to only prevent creating the vendor invoice journal but continue to update the PO line charge. The feature is not of any use since it will cause problems with a company's income statement. The Idea is to separate those two functions, so vendor invoice journals won't be created but PO line charges will still be updated.

When a transfer order line is split by more than one pick lists, shipping the transfer order from shipment form, is selecting the latest shipment instead of the shipment that we are on.

Wish there is an option to easily generate flashcard in 2 and/or 3 way comparison matching or not matching element profile.

Wish there is an option to easily setup inventory ledger posting for production on production royalties by vendor account for vendor accrual offset (liabilities).

Wish there is an option to easily setup production finished goods quantities royalties fees ledger account posting by vendor (e.g. investor vendor account for fixed asset equipment patents).

Wish there is an option to easily identify, visualize, inquiry, sort or filter the BOM design activation version classification type (e.g. Needs improvements, bad, good, excellent, 80% accurate, incorrect, fair, new market, new targets, standard, etc..).

Wish there is an option to easily identify, inquiry, safety track BOM design not requested tracking (e.g. scrap designs, consumable goods, packaging, production operations services and consumable goods, etc...)

Not efficiently tracking BOM designs not requested, user may not efficiently track potential BOM versions, New BOMs, BOMs based on scrap or consumables, or other, or other innovation evaluations, or evaluations to new markets or new targets or alternative communities.
