Many customers need to stop working on a specific site or warehouse for all users. as a workaround, we can use this function to achieve that http://dynamics365ax2012.blogspot.com/2018/03/how-to-block-warehouse-for-transactions.html but it is very hard work. so, if we create parameter per warehouse /site (blocked) Yes or No. it will help users and save time.

    The need for active/passive for warehouses/sites is real. Corresponding lookups should also be modified to include only the active definitions.

    This is a highly demanded functionality, it is also said in community many times. As an additional requirement, in terms of security setups, if Microsoft can add a separate menuitem and allow changes to active/passive value through that menuitem only, it will be easier to limit/allow access to that functionality.

    It's a must have feature, MS should consider this for the future releases.


    Currently, available workaround are not feasible to implement, when you have long list of items codes
