It should be possible to go through the sales cycle (Opp->Quote->Project Contract) with a change request, then at Quote Won, associate it with an existing Project Contract rather than needing to create a new Project Contract. Project Contracts can have many lines so why can't we just add whatever is on the quote to those already there?

  • We need to track effort against quote and baseline and call out over runs and additional budget/requests added to the core agreed project budget.

  • This is always asked by all customers we worked with.

    Extremely important!

  • This could help to reduce the complexity of using the POPS for customers!

  • Change Orders are SOP for any project management system. There needs to be a better way. Quote Type = Change Order, add association to the project contract instead of creating a new one. Doesn't seem that hard. But boy howdy, trying to do it via PowerAutomate and a custom button is a PITA!
