Progress bar for downloading large attachments from Timeline control view
Suggested by Sachin Gupta – New – 0 Comments
Usability Issue - The screen goes without any update while downloading larger attachments of Notes/Emails from Timeline control. Suggestion - Implement a progress bar or any kind of "downloading attachment..." indication for users from Timeline Control which is useful when trying to download larger attachments from Timeline control. Currently, the system doesn’t show any message, notification, or process bar to let users know about the long-running task from Timeline control. If you try to download the same attachment from the email form, the system does show a notification bar of “downloading attachment…”. Is this something Microsoft is considering to implement for Timeline control as well in the new future? -
Outlook Eligibility List
Suggested by Edward Knapp – New – 0 Comments
The Outlook Eligibility List is only populated if a user's role has the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User enabled. It does not populate when the security group that a user belongs to has the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User app enabled. The user's role should reflect this permission that is being set at the Teams level so this feature can be used productively. Also the UI for this list only allows 4-5 users to be seen at a time. This is unuseable for 500+ users. Please expand the viewing capability of this list in the UI. -
Efficiency
Suggested by Charlie Deguara – New – 0 Comments
When a member of the public selects a department that they would like to deal with, all other departments should disappear from the screen. As person making the return calls to a member of the public, I find that there is too much time scrolling up and down the page to see the remarks or comments made if any and to see the name and contact number. For example if the public member selects Passport services, there is no need for me to see anything else related to Sin cards or employment insurance etc. I should be able to key in on what the public member said and their contact information all on one page without having to scroll up and down. -

OR condition in Connection queries
Suggested by Enrico Modelli – New – 2 Comments
Actually the "not in" condition doesn't work on Connection queries. In the following fetch, I would need to return all records that haven't none of the 3 ic_vocabulary (it's a custom entity), but it doesn't work. Multiple users can move forward in Offer entity BFP stages one by one for the same record
Suggested by Jayeshkumar Pawar – New – 0 Comments
When multiple users (under 1 Team) have access to custom entity record 'Offer' and one of the users is going forward with the BPF stages, for example if first user draft the offer (1 stage) and sending the offer ( next stage of BPF) and after doing this another user who are also having access to the same offer record cannot see the changes without refreshing the page and so he can also move forward with same stages which ideally user should not move further but CRM allowing it to move forward. -
Dynamics 365 - CE - Auto navigate to missing mandatory field entry on the form
Suggested by Amar Singh – New – 0 Comments
With UCI since now we have different Tabs for each section of form its really difficult for users to search for missing mandatory field as system does not auto navigate to it. System should auto navigate the curser to 1st missing mandatory field of the whenever users hits save and there is missing entry for mandatory field. -
Power Platform Catalog management IS BROKEN
Suggested by Zach Kemp – New – 0 Comments
I was advised to go this route, for a ticket that was placed on 10/28 regarding the release of the power platform catalog.
When a Catalog is created, a solution alongside it is installed in the target environment (either created from the wizard or selected from your current environments)
If for any reason this catalog needs to be marked active/inactive after install, it will not accept your change. If the catalog needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled, either for testing purposes, et al. you are no longer allowed to install the catalog in an environment where a catalog previously existed. Deleting the appropriate solution, components, tables, etc will still not allow you to select an environment to create a catalog in.
Upon bringing this to microsoft, intent that this must be a bug, i was advised to create a new environment which based on capacity is not a viable solution for most companies, as it is inferred that with a catalog in your environment, you are utilizing an amount of dataverse capacity that is not returned. When voicing the concern for what appears to be a broken process, i was advised that catalog uninstalls are not supported which is a extremely detrimental when trying to grow the platforms user-base!
While the rep i worked with was kind and understanding, and i dont believe this is the place to submit something that is clearly a bug, to an ideas page, I will still champion this!
