Presently ERP D365 allows negative inventory if stock out transaction is posted in back date and current date has sufficient stock. In this way, inventory on any particular day in between can go negative.

On hand report - The inventory value logic to be corrected when used with Location dimension
The system shows inventory value as negative in on hand report even if product inventory is 0. As per support team, they suggested not to select the dimension "Location" to hide these rows. It means, location wise inventory value can go negative.
