Dynamics CRM should be installable to Window 7 for development purposes

The install and configuration of Dynamics CRM should be made possible on Windows 7 (for development purposes).

Requiring Windows Server 2003/Windows Server 2008 in order to develop a solution for Dynamics CRM is a significant barrier to entry.

Allow fields to be hidden based on the values of other fields (without javascript)

A large proportion of the forms we develop have javascript added to hide certain fields when other related fields have a certain value.

For example: A field may ask "Do you have any other assets?". If a user answers "no" the "Provide a brief description of these assets:" field shoul...

Allow picklists to be displayed as radio buttons

On most of our forms we have fields that we want to show as radio buttons. Unfortunately some of these are picklists.

It would be great if there was an option to render a picklist using radio buttons in much the same way as the bit field does at the moment.

Allow Dynamics CRM to be installed on Windows 7 machines for development purposes

It would be great if future versions of Dynamics CRM could be installed on Windows 7 for development purposes.

Currently developers have to either:
- Run Dynamics CRM in a VM (which taxes the development computer's resources)

Allow default dashboards to be set per team rather than just for the whole organization

Dashboards are a welcome feature.

However, it would be great if the default dashboard could be set for each team of users, rather than for the organisation as a whole.

Currently when you specify a javascript function to be called when a Form OnLoad, Form OnSave or field OnChange event occurs, a developer must enter the name of the function in a free-form text box.

Errors commonly occur as a result of typo's into this text box.

It would be great...

- Edit the Sitemap
- Create a new Zip file

Allow Report Categories to be included in Solutions

It would be really useful for Report Categories to be able to be packaged as part of Solutions.

Currently adding Report Categories is an additional deployment step that needs to be done through the Administration area, once a solution has be imported.

Also, if they were part of t...

Allow views to be hidden from the main dropdown box displayed as part of the default view for an entity

With the new Lookup fields, it is now common-place to create views that are only relevant for use with a specific Lookup field on a form.

Unfortunately, when creating these views, they are all "Public" views. This in turn means they are displayed in the dropdown list of available views ...
