We want to be able to use batchId within item barcode definition. After definition, user should be able to use item barcode at store item receiving and also at POS. Product dimensions are part of item barcode but tracking dimensions are not. (Note that serial number can be captured at the POS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/commerce/pos-serialized-items) Tracking dimensions can also be part of item barcode and be used in store sales. Think of a company that creates different barcodes for each batchId. So when the items are sold at the POS they want to know which batchId the sold item belongs to.
