Shopify Order tags data flow on Sales Order while syncing orders from Shopify. Could it be possible to get the custom tags information on the Shopify orders and sales orders in business central while syncing data from the Shopify store? It is fairly needed for the orders or cases in which specific attention is required while shipping and posting.

Thank you for your feedback. 

The foundation for the requested feature is already available: order tags, order attributes, and order line attributes are imported with Shopify Order. You can see them in the FactBoxes of the Shopify Order Card page.

This information is not passed to created sales order or invoices out of the box, but can be added via extensibility model.


For example:
  • Add information to a sales document that's based on a Shopify order
  • Add information to a sales document line that's based on a Shopify order
  • Show related information on a sales document

Agree with this. Order tags especially are a core part of Shopify and useful for triggering actions downstream.
