For many items and across industries there is a need to specify specific items/products which are non-stocked on a BOM to make it clear that the a specific non-stocked products needs to be utilised for the specific process and/or item.

This could e.g. be a type of gas, special electrical output or similar which are all non-stocked.

Could also be something simple as a specific plastic bag which the company does not want to keep track in their warehouse.

Currently it is not allowed to add non-stocked products to a BOM. We have a wish that they are handled similar to a Service on a BOM.

We want to avoid the allowance of negative stock due to its financial impact on the warehouse.
