We are going through an implementation currently and found out partway through that it would be tough to consolidate financials and inter-company transactions with two tenants. We have a business unit in the UK and one in the US. Ultimately we decided to roll the dice with a single tenant and slowly work through any localisation conflicts between the two...we will see how it turns out. It is our hope that multi-localisations/geos per tenant will be available soon. Still cannot believe Microsoft would put themselves at such a disadvantage relative to other products that have this capability, I'm sure they have lost out on a lot of business from global companies as a result.

We have exactly the same issue and as I have seen from feedback on this. I have noticed that the official word is it is on the roadmap. Although the feedback is not really enough. Please, could you share more details?

We have a lot of customers which are struggling with this item. Also some prospects did not choose our solution, because we could not give them a solution in 1 database for this problem.

We have a lot of Scandinavian companies operatating in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland in same O365 Tenant. We must be able to spin up multi-geo location companies in same O365 tenant. If future version is a G1(W1) version, and Localization are extension. It must be able to have different extension for different company.

Agree this is an essential feature and should be prioritized as it is a showstopper for companies with locations in multiple countries.

Additionally we have customers in the same region using one AAD and Office Tenant for multiple legal entities that require different customisations. It would be great if we could have multiple production tenants and sandboxes in the same region as well as countries.

Most partners will have multiple clients with subsidiary companies in different countries which will need to comply with local financial regulations. Having multiple O365 tenants for each country isn't a solution/option.
In deals, we are coming up against other SAAS ERP solutions which can achieve Multi-Country.
