If a PR workflow (not PR line workflow) is rejected by the reviewer or approver or if he/ she requests a change by the user and the user resubmitts the workflow, the workflow starts from the beginning and the workflow history is lost.

For the (new) reviewer or approver it might be vital to see that this PR has been resubmittet and is not a new one.
To search in the system administration workflow history every time is not a solution for the normal reviewer or approver.

Also, in a PO, if a change is requested, the workflow history continues.
It is hard to understand for the customer, why the same action "request change" in the same workflow-framework in D365 F&O shows different behaviors in different workflows.

Hence, the suggestion to keep the workflow history after "request change" or "reject" of a PR.

(Maybe configurable by parameter or activatable by feature so that already running customers are not disturbed.)

This idea is for PR at this stage but the improvement can be applied to any business document in Finance and Operation that undergone workflow process. Thus providing Business Document Lifecycle - Workflow History
