We are an end customer of Navision 2009R2 with a license to develop solutions and a Development Team. Our license has a range of object numbering purchased for our business objects.
We have 3 OnPremise environments: DEV, QA and PROD ... all with real or semi-real data (not Cronus) and updated periodically.
We know that MS is emphasizing the need to create TESTS and ensure the correct execution of the developments, but we believe that it makes no sense that we have to pay to buy extra objects to be able to develop our automatic TESTS that only run on DEV and QA. ..
Is there a specific and sufficiently wide numbering range for the conversion of our license to BC in which we can create the Automatic Tests necessary for our business development without using our payment numbering range?
On the other hand, we believe that in OnPremise infraestructure it no longer makes sense that end customers with development licenses have to continue paying for object numbering ranges when the price of the license per user is now much higher than in Navision.
The number of users that we have licensed also makes the Cloud option in which it seems that it could be developed in the range 50000 .. 99999 is not economically viable for us ever.
What solution does MS give us for our case?
