It is possible to release operations of a production order per operation to a warehouse instead of the whole production order. It is also possible to do the release of the operations via a batch job (Automatic release of BOM and formula lines). However, it would be good to have an additional option that an operation will be released to the warehouse based on the “report as finished” from other operation. For instance:
• Production order PO10000
o Oper. 100
o Oper. 200

When operation.100 being report as finished, operation 200 should be automatically released to the warehouse in the background. With this function you can deliver the items more just in time on the production floor. This option is more flexible, because you’re not depending of a configured time frame in the query of the batch.
