While supporting a customer inquiry, we found that the official documentation for the "Evaluation Plan" does not provide sufficient explanation, and customers are unable to fully understand the actual behavior of this field from the documentation alone.

The current documentation only states:

"Due date: Select a due date."

However, based on our verification on an actual environment, the field behaves as follows:

  • The tooltip shows "Evaluation expiration", indicating the input is a number of days, not a date.
  • Entering a date value returns the error "Please enter a number between -2,147,483,648 and 2,147,483,647."
  • When "365" was entered on 2026/6/3, the expiration was set to 2027/6/3 (365 days from the execution date).

■ Points That Should Be Added to the Documentation

The current description is not detailed enough. We would like to request that the following points be added to the official documentation so that customers can correctly understand the field's behavior:

  1. The unit of the input value – clarify that the field expects an integer (number of days or date
  2. The starting point (base date) used to calculate the expiration – e.g., the evaluation execution date, the assignment date, or the creation date of the target case/conversation.
  3. The behavior when the expiration date is reached – e.g., whether the evaluation record is automatically closed/expired, becomes non-editable, gets deleted, or affects data retention.

■ Request

Could you please consider enhancing the official documentation above by adding the details listed in the section "Points That Should Be Added to the Documentation"?

This additional information would help customers correctly understand the usage and behavior of this field, and reduce confusion as well as inquiries on this topic.
