Emails may fail to submit for many reasons, including:
-Contact/Account requested not to be contacted via email (Email= Do not allow)
-Contact/Account does not have an email specified
Emails that failed to submit remain in Draft mode and appear as an outstanding activity. Out of the box, there is no facility to deactivate emails.
The cancel button is available, however, an error message is displayed when attempting to cancel emails (even if the email is in Draft mode).
Would it be possible to enable the cancel functionality?
Our current work around was configuring an on demand workflow to update the email status to cancelled (only available if email status reason= draft)

Hi Wanessa, Thanks for your feedback, i was wondering if "delete" action on the Email form can be used for the scenario which you described here. Is there a need to keep these Emails in the system with status as cancelled?? Thanks Dileep SIngh
