It is amazing that we can create multiple Business Central production instances with a specific country release, but we also need the ability to select the Azure data center or region where a new production instance should run, so we can support where the primary users are located. Users working in a country production instance, may not be working in the same country, so to provide the best user experience, we need the production instance close to the users location

Thanks for the feedback! This is a good idea, but isn't currently in our product roadmap. The Azure data center in which the data for the Business Central environment is located is based on the country localization selected for the environment. Much of this is based on countries' legal requirements for data storage. When doing business in specific countries, often the data is required to stay within the geographical borders of those countries. However, we'll continue to track this request for consideration in a future release of Business Central.

We have some customer with business in multiple countries with one AAD.
For performans the Datacenter need to be close to the end user.

I agree that legal requirments where data should be stored is supported.

Soon we will also have local datacenter across Nordic, and we assume support for use them with BC.
Thats meen it must be a function to move tenants between datacenter when new datacenter are avvaiable.

This needs to be fixed. I don't know what the real reasons are for a specific datacenter to be chosen. But at least for Finnish customers the default North Europe is by no means the optimal. North Europe is located in Ireland (!!!) and latency is significantly higher to Ireland vs. west europe (Netherlands). We need to be able to move tenants to different data centers.

Also, some countries require that the data must be kept within the country that the data belongs to. Thus being able to select the data center/region would be required.
