Introduce out-of-the-box functionality for ecommerce, for Refer-a-Friend functionality within Loyalty and in conjunction with Coupon Discounts?
E.G.
- Customer A is a registered customer enrolled in the Loyalty scheme
- Customer A clicks a button on the website to 'Refer-a-friend' and inputs the friend's email address
- The 'Friend' receives an email containing a Coupon code
- The Coupon code needs to be usage = 1 and unique to the customer, without being an affiliation/customer-required Coupon record. This is because the 'Friend' is not yet a registered customer and therefore cannot be affiliated. Therefore the Coupon record functionality needs enhancing to allow a 1 usage SINGLE LINE coupon code record, that can only be used once by a customer, without them being affiliated.
- The 'Friend' visits the site (they may choose to use Guest checkout) and uses the Promo coupon code to receive their discount
- The site/retail server needs to recognise that this unique Coupon code has been used and then apply some Loyalty points to the referring Customer A.
- I would like to see this enhancement as part of Discounts/Coupon code config and Loyalty Scheme Earning rules.
