Currently in D365, Service management module > Subscriptions > Indexation process is very limited in following points:

  1. There is only one index rate (field) to be applied
  2. There is no history log nor report for tracking price changes
  3. There is no limitation nor conditions introduced on Project (contract) level to filter or restrict subscriptions thus prices to be indexed on certain projects which do not meet the indexation criteria.


Requests/proposal:

  1. To introduce additional field(s) for indexes (index rates) > business case: inflation index separated from business specific index (e.g., minimum salary wage)
  2. To introduce history log and report for tracking price changes > including at least dates, indexes applied, base price changed (indexed) at that moment
  3. To include additional criteria fields on indexation process > introduce additional information on Project contract or Project - whether indexes (equal to number of index fields on Subscriptions) can be applied (Yes/No)
