Currently it is not possible to post a Report as finished journal from the job card terminal, when a linked Picking list journal (backflushing) from the current or a previous operation cannot be posted. This is related to a common business scenario where the available stock in the system is different (not enough) from the actual available stock. In this case this is preventing the production operator to finish the job system wise (and thus taking the (semi-)finished goods into inventory). This is mainly problematic when those semi-finished goods are used in another production order, as they cannot be consumed either then. Even when the parameter 'Post automatically' (Production control > Setup > Manufacturing execution > Production order defaults > Operations > Picking list) is disabled, this is not possible. The only possibility currently is allowing negative inventory. This is of course a rather inappropriate solution to support the above scenario.
