A request that we received from 4-5 customers is to have the possibility to have linked dimensions values to a dimension value. The goal is to have the possibility to link to a dimension value (a) dimension(s) and (a) dimension value(s). And of course if you use the dimension on sales/purchase/general journal line that the linked dimensions values comes automatically over.

So expect that all costs for COSTGROUP - MERCEDES should always be linked to DEPARTMENT SALES. Today the user needs to link both dimension values to his sales/purchase/general journal line.

I know that you can work with totals in your dimension value structure, but this does not work always. Because it could be that the COSTGROUP MERCEDES should be linked later to an other DEPARTMENT. (And the user wants to have that all his historical bookings of the MERCEDES stays on DEPARTMENT SALES.
