Current Limitation:
The built-in Analytics dashboards for real-time journeys and email/channel performance do not allow filtering by contact-level attributes (e.g., Language, Country/Region, Industry, or custom fields). This makes it difficult to analyze engagement metrics (opens, clicks, conversions) for specific audience subsets without creating separate segments or exporting data.
Impact on Users:
- Operational inefficiency: Requires duplicating journeys or exporting data to Power BI for basic attribute-based analysis.
- Delayed insights: Marketers cannot quickly answer questions like “What is the click rate for contacts where Language = French?”
- Fragmented reporting: Workarounds lead to inconsistent and siloed analytics.
Proposed Enhancement:
Add attribute-based filtering to Analytics dashboards, allowing users to:
- Filter by standard and custom contact fields (e.g., Language, Region, Consent Source).
- Apply filters across all tiles and charts in Journey and Channel Analytics.
- Support multi-select and basic operators (equals, not equals, in list).
- Provide admin controls to manage which attributes appear in the filter panel.
