Customers might change the routing lines in production orders on which is not posted yet, due to changing production plans. The routing link code is a very essential field in the setting of a production order.

It would be really great to have this option.
Often our customers ask for last minute changes. Even when production has already started in the first departments.
F.e. we make a cupboard and in last instance the customer asks to also paint it. I need to add the material i.e. the paint and also the routing line "painting department" and link these two in the production order. Now we can add the lines, but not the link between them, which is confusing for the people on the production floor.
It would be splendid if you could put this on the roadmap.

We logged a ticket with Microsoft for the same problem and were reffered to this post.
For our customer, this functionality is absolutely essential.
If this field is not editable, we will have to write custom code and make a work-around.
Please let us know if you put it on the roadmap.
