We would like to use intercompany for selling items to sister companies, but as we are producing clothes, we are using std. variant code field everywhere.This is not included in intercompany, so we need to customize it to be able to use it. Since variant code is std. it would be nice that it is also included in std. intercompany.

My mind was blown when I came across this gap in functionality recently. Definitely should be standard part of the solution to support all functionality in sales or purchase documents across intercompany transactions.
