Background If picking slip, packing slip, invoice posting is performed by batch jobs, it is hard or almost impossible to make any kind of health check regarding posting results. It is possible to check batch history, and duration of the batch run,but it is not clear why batch job was running for instance for 18h, was it because of huge workload or because of some other issues. To be able to report and calculate how many sales order lines has been included into batch posting, and calculate how much in average batch job consumes time per line, batch history record reference needs to be stored in SalesParmTable and PurchParmTable. Solution Batch job history record reference fields needs to be added to SalesParmTable and PurchParmTable Extension is needed to confirmation, picking slip, packing slip, invoice posting jobs regarding sales orders, and confirmation, receipt list, product receipt, invoice posting jobs regarding purchase orders, where reference to batch job history record is updated to SalesParmTable and PurchParmTable when batch job is executed. This extension will let to make detailed performance and healthcare reports regarding order postings which are very crucial to the companies with high automatization processes.
