PROBLEM

When attempting to post a Service Order that has a line for a 'Service' item, a critical error occurs: 

"Create Item

consumption journal. An item cannot be

added to an inventory journal if it is associated with an item model group

where the attribute Stocked product is not selected."

REMARKS

The system does not keep track of the inventory of the non-stocked items. In other words, the item cannot be added to an inventory journal and there is no track of the on-hand. 

Therefore, when trying to post the order line with a non-stock item the error message "Create Item consumption error journal An item cannot be added to an inventory journal if it is associated with an item model group where the attribute Stocked product is not selected" appears. 

To post the order line and add the item in a inventory journal, the item needs to be a "Stocked" item.
