In CRM 2011 read-only fields could still be selected if a user needed to copy a value out of the field, for example and account or contact number, etc. In CRM 2013 I see that it is not possible to select the value of a read-only field, the only way around this seems to be to make the field editable, which we can't do because we don't want the values to be changed. I suggest that the read-only fields be displayed in such a way that the values can be selected.
