Currently, when executing a report it is possible to select, for example, multiple Vendors in the filter screen. However in this case, the Vendor codes have to be typed manually (with a pipe in between), instead of being able to select multiple ones by selecting them through a dropdown menu.

The filtering feature in the NAV version was very useful. Now, in Business Central, it’s quite inconvenient to copy values just to filter for multiple entries, like customers. Restoring the multi-value filtering functionality would greatly enhance usability and save a lot of time. :)

In NAV and older versions we used to have filter option | to add additional values from the list, but in BC it is not possible to do so. Let's say we have three vendors in the list - V0001, V0002 and V0003. And in the report in older versions we were using filters V0001|V0003. In BC however, if I select V0001| and trying to add V0003 - it overwrites previous value and leaves just V0003.Would be nice to have that filter option back!

Agree - it must be possible in all filter options on reports.

This should not only be possible for vendors but for every field you can filter on in a report . Also that you can select an item in the list and add another item in the list and so on instead manually entering the item code for every item you want to put in the filter.
