Serial number tracking functionality for Production orders in case of output requirement more than one quantity is not available. This is critical for any manufacturing site where serial number tracking is enabled. The purpose of enabling serial number is completely lost if we are not able to track the consumption for the Semi-finished or finished goods. Customer will not agree to work around of producing only one quantity every time to track the serial numbers as this has a serious impact on efficiency in operations and the process is lengthy when the expectation from system is automation.

Pls. find below the steps for recreation:

1. Both FG and the BOM item are serial number controlled.
2. Create a production order for the FG item of 2 or more quantities.
3. Estimate and Release.
4. Complete the work.
5. Start the production order.
6. Picking lists are generated.
7. Post the report progress from the PFE.
8. End the production order.

But there is no link between the Serialized raw material with the serialized FG item.
