Add Notes in the social pane before the parent record is saved, on the entities say " Contacts "

We are unable to add the notes in the Notes section in the social pane until the parent record is saved on entities say " Contact ".
It was possible to add the notes before saving the parent record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, however it is not allowing us to add the notes the same way as we can add activities or tasks in the social pane before saving the parent record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013.
